Role Introduction
Reports to: Employee Engagement Manager
As a delivery-focused individual and creative thinker, you will work with the Internal Communications and Engagement team to develop and execute engagement campaigns and events to improve the employee experience and drive engagement across our varied employee groups in our home base, Hong Kong, and globally. Your key focus will be to create a positive work environment in support of our business goals to in turn, influence customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the Employee Engagement team to develop and execute our yearly calendar of engagement activities to elevate the employee experience
- Plan, execute and manage employee engagement campaigns and activities
- Lead the engagement and administration of Cathay’s sports and interest clubs, and promote club activities to employees
- Represent the Company on the Swire Hong Kong Staff Association committee and external networks such as Inter-Hong to organise and promote different activities for our employees and enhance the Company’s image
- Play a key role in supporting, organising and implementing leadership events and employee recognition programmes, including the annual Betsy Awards and Long Service Awards, and the Work Well Done programme for everyday recognition
- Develop communications that support the storytelling and delivery of engagement initiatives and events
- Maintain clear communication and collaborate closely with the broader Internal Communications and Engagement team on projects, and contribute to a strong teamwork culture with a shared focus on delivering high-quality outcomes against business objectives
- Serve as an advisor and provide support to other departments on engagement initiatives as needed
- Stay on top of the latest event and engagement trends, technologies and innovations in the employee experience space
- Prepare reports, analyse data and make recommendations based on actionable insights
Requirements
- A degree holder with 5 years' experience in communications, employee engagement, event or related roles
- Experienced in designing and executing both large- and small-scale business and social events
- Strong project management and event experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to write and develop multi-media content
- Good understanding of trends, tools and techniques that drive employee engagement and deliver great employee experiences
- Solid collaboration skills, with vendor/agency management experience
- Budget management experience
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills; attention to detail and an eye for quality
- Ability to work in a team, multitask, adapt to change and work under pressure
- Excellent written and spoken English; Cantonese is an advantage
