Our client is seeking a a Intermediate and Senior Project Controls Coordinators to support project cost control, forecasting, reporting, earned value management, and change management activities for major projects.
Intermediate Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in construction or project controls
- Experience developing project control Plan. Develop project estimate, control budget and WBS structure
- Experience tracking and monitoring forecast at completion, incurred cost and budget. Provide variance analysis and explanation
- Experience using Oracle, Power BI and Microsoft Office products specifically Excel
- Post-secondary education in engineering or construction
Senior Qualifications
- Project Management Professional credential (PMP)
- 10+ years of experience in construction, including solar or wind relevant experience.
- Experience leading and coordinating the development of project control Plans.
- Experience developing project estimates, control budget and WBS structure.
- Experience implementing Earned Value Management. Ensure accurate CPI and Earned Value curve are reported.
- Experience implementing change management. Initiate PCOs, Trends and AFE revisions. Support on the supplemental funding request.
- Experience using Ecosys, Oracle, Power BI and Microsoft Office products specifically Excel
- Post-secondary education in engineering or construction.
Responsibilities
- Develop project control Plan. Develop project estimate, control budget and WBS structure.
- Track and monitor forecast at completion, incurred cost and budget. Provide variance analysis and explanation.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure engagement with the project progress, changes, highlights, and issues. Communicate the status and issues with execution and construction team.
- Proactively report cost status and efficiently communicate any risk and mitigation plan
- Update actual progress, project milestones, and completion dates
- Implement Earned Value Management. Ensure accurate CPI and Earned Value curve are reported.
- Implement change management. Initiate PCOs, Trends and AFE revisions. Support on the supplemental funding request.
