We are looking for a Threat Intelligence Engineer to deliver extraordinary experiences for our customers.
This role is ideal for a strategic, analytical, proactive individual who understands how to lead and leverage threat intelligence programs by transforming insights from active threats and potential security weaknesses into actionable defense strategies, while analyzing and detecting cyber threats and malware, assessing their impact, and enabling informed cybersecurity-driven business decisions.
Educational requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a combination of education and equivalent experience.
Experience:
- 3–5 years of directly related experience in cybersecurity or threat intelligence
- Experience tracking threat actors or conducting similar cyber investigations
- Significant technical expertise in IT systems with exposure to IT security across Linux and Windows operating systems, networking, web technologies (encryption, HTTP, REST), and cloud environments
- Hands-on experience collaborating with incident response teams and managing IT security incidents in geographically distributed environments
- Proven ability to develop processes and procedures for gathering, analyzing, and distributing threat intelligence
Skills to succeed:
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence concepts, including terminology, tools, and processes
- Proficiency in OSINT tools and techniques, including social media monitoring and dark web environments (TOR, I2P)
- Understanding of cyber-attack frameworks such as Cyber Kill Chain, Diamond Model, and MITRE ATT&CK
- Ability to perform risk-based analysis and evaluate business risks to recommend appropriate security measures
- Strong understanding of cloud computing and associated security challenges
- Structured decision-making skills with a continuous improvement mindset and ability to drive process enhancements
- Ability to collect, analyze, and contextualize threat data to produce actionable intelligence and tailored briefings
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and third-party vendors
- Ability to adapt quickly in evolving environments and prioritize effectively based on threat landscape changes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
