JSG is hiring a Manufacturing Production Supervisor - 2nd shift in Peabody, MA.
Pay rate: $35-$40 DOE
This role ensures that production goals are met efficiently, safely, and in compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards. The ideal candidate will lead a team of assemblers and technicians, coordinate production schedules, and drive continuous improvement across all manufacturing processes.
Skills:
- Associate or Bachelors degree in Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Operations
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards and compliance requirements
- Proven leadership and team-building skills
- Proficient in reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings, wiring schematics and work instructions
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Visual a plus)
- Strong problem-solving, communication and organizational skills
- Experience with lean manufacturing, Kaizen or Six Sigma Methodologies
- Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets
- Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards, including proper documentation, traceability, and quality assurance practices
- Monitor employee performance and provide coaching, feedback, and training to build a high-performance team
- Implement and maintain 5S and lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Materials departments to resolve production issues
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, ensuring all team members follow safety protocols and wear proper PPE
- Review and analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement
- Conduct daily shift meetings and maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and labor hours
- Participate in internal and external audits related to quality management systems (QMS).
