Job overview and responsibilities:
Acts as the interface with assigned areas of the organization for the purpose of DT strategy development, solution discovery, process optimization, and efficiency. This role drives key initiatives within the NOC (Network Operations Center) portfolios with a focus on flight planning applications. Plans and executes initiatives to achieve strategic objectives and improve processes. Communicates decisions, priorities, and relevant project information to appropriate levels of staff regarding service requests, projects and initiatives. Act as an advocate on behalf of business stakeholders to ensure DT services meet their business priorities and needs.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution:
• Maintains a strong relationship with appropriate level key stakeholders and Digital Technology.
• Leads short and long-term strategic planning sessions with various stakeholders to improve business processes.
• Communicate with business leaders, project managers and other stakeholders to ensure awareness of progress, risks, and results.
• Drives stakeholder leadership and strategy meetings.
• Gathers data, executes analyses, and illustrates results in simple terms for broad understanding; the expected analyses will require extraction, transformation, and analysis of raw data for inclusion in reports which assist IT Leadership in decision making.
• Propose optimized governance structures for enterprise-level products
• Develop and deliver strategic communications materials for initiatives that require executive/VP-level engagement (e.g., steerco presentations, funding proposals, business cases, etc.).
• Assist with organizational change management for new tools or existing tools for management, administrative, and front-line employee populations.
• Keep abreast of industry and technology trends.
• Understand technical/functional requirements gathered from business stakeholders.
• Analyze, design, and document platforms/systems to meet enterprise requirements.
Advocacy:
• Represents the business strategies and priorities to DT teams.
• Represents the DT vision to the business.
• Promotes business knowledge of DT process, roles, and procedures to ensure the best possible outcomes.
• Acts as an advocate for business needs and required results.
• Ensures DT domains are aware of key business issues.
• Identifies potential problems and conflicts with DT delivery and develops creative improvements.
• Defines and drives change management activities (i.e., frequent communication to other teams and stakeholders about the change and the impact of the change, advocacy, coaching, and adoption to achieve desired results).
Consulting:
• Provides support to business and DT teams and participates in quality reviews and provides feedback sessions where applicable.
• Consults and drives process improvement initiatives involving the Field Services Delivery organization, as well as other DT and business groups.
• Advise on options, risks, costs versus benefits, and impacts on end-user products and services, business processes and system priorities.
• Ensures IT solutions support the organization’s short-term and long-term business goals/strategy and align with DT strategy.
• Analyzes technology trends to determine impact to the achievement of business goals. Develop busines cases.
Business Decision Support:
• Maintains awareness of changes to organization(s) strategy, goals and processes to ensure requirements appropriately reflect the need of the organization(s).
• Recommends solution in conjunction with technology consultants
• Works with appropriate stakeholders to evaluate risks associated with business decisions.
• Negotiate agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business stakeholders and DT from initial requirements to final implementation.
• Drives priorities of DT projects/requests as set by business leadership.
Oversight:
• Prioritizes DT initiatives in partnership with Field Services Delivery leaders based on organization(s) needs/strategy, DT workload and budget.
• Ensures the oversight for resolution of escalated DT issues.
• Ensures the business need is addressed by the technical solution from a conceptual standpoint.
• Works with stakeholders and technical resources to cultivate appropriate solution required to meet business goals.
• Minimize business value lost during project/program execution
Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or relevant field
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Information Technology, business or related field IT
- Communication Skills- The ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of employees and management, capable of successful formal and informal communication, speaks and writes clearly and understandably at the right level
- Integrity and Trust - Involves being widely trusted, being seen as a direct, truthful individual, can present the unvarnished truth in an appropriate and helpful manner, keeps confidences, admits mistakes, and doesn’t misrepresent him/herself for personal gain

The base pay range for this role is $102,220.00 to $133,194.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
