Rishworth is seeking a Maintenance Planning Engineer who will be responsible for the development of short- and long-term maintenance programs in collaboration with the line manager and relevant internal departments. This role is also responsible in organizing, coordinating, and overseeing both scheduled and unscheduled to ensure the continuous airworthiness of the airline fleet and other third- party aircrafts while ensuring optimal safety standards, operational reliability, and cost-effective maintenance performance through efficient planning and resource coordination.
This role is based in Cairo, Egypt and requires relocation. Relocation assistance will be provided for successful candidates.
Job Responsibilities

Develop detailed maintenance work packages, including preloads, Gantt chart reviews, and other planning support needed for successful maintenance execution.

Organize and coordinate both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities for line, base, workshop, and third-party operations while ensuring compliance with company procedures.

Prepare and implement short and long-term maintenance schedules for the fleet in accordance with the approved maintenance program and engineering instructions.

Monitor and forecast maintenance requirements within the company’s maintenance management system (AMOS) to support efficient and economical operations.

Collaborate with internal departments and stakeholders to establish maintenance capacity plans, optimize resources, and address operational priorities or emergency situations.

Generate periodic manpower utilization and maintenance performance reports, while providing recommendations to improve maintenance processes and documentation efficiency.

Work closely with Engineering, Procurement, MCC, Finance, and other relevant teams to ensure timely availability of tools, materials, defect rectification, airworthiness compliance, and smooth execution of maintenance and lease-related activities.
Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering, or related field: additional certifications in compliance, budgeting, or quality assurance are an advantage.

Experienced in aviation maintenance planning or similar engineering roles, preferably with Airbus A320 exposure, and knowledgeable in MPD, MRB, AMP, and CAMO requirements.

Familiar with aviation regulations including CAR-M, CAR-145, Part 21, EASA Part 145, and company maintenance procedures.

Skilled in Microsoft suite, aircraft systems, airline operations, safety standards, and quality assurance practices.
