Our client, a leading budget airline in the Middle East, is seeking a B1 LAME (A320) to perform and oversee line maintenance activities, ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient maintenance and repair of A320 aircraft.
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Egypt. Applicants must have the legal right to live and work in Egypt.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepares and performs scheduled aircraft maintenance, ensuring that the required documentation, parts, tools and GSE are obtained and used for each task.
- Performs defect troubleshooting and rectification in accordance with Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and instructions provided by the MCC and Engineering departments.
- Protects airworthiness, ensuring aircrafts are dispatched in a fully compliant condition and configuration, inspected and tested in accordance with approved maintenance procedures.
- Signs off maintenance tasks performed or supervised within the scope of own authorization, verifying that the aircraft technical log and associated documents have been completed to the required standard following completion of all maintenance.
- Manages communications with other engineers, Technicians, Flight Crew and MCC related to the assigned tasks, providing accurate, timely reports on the readiness and airworthiness of the aircraft
Job Requirements
- Valid B1 AMEL License
- At least 2 years’ experience certifying maintenance on the Airbus A320 family of aircraft.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a Line or Base Maintenance environment.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to a good standard for technical communications.
