Job Description
You will be the Research Scientist for the ADP SLO team which is responsible for driving engineering support across design and production programs.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Research Scientist you will be responsible for providing engineering support to production, collecting and analyzing RCS data, and developing sustainment processes.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Collect RCS data using specialized test equipment and interpret results to influence component serviceability.
- Develop processes and procedures for LO sustainment, including defect and repair effect assessments.
- Perform Stability‑Over‑Time analysis and contribute to intellectual‑property evaluations and patent applications.
- Coordinate inter‑departmental activities and research efforts related to materials and coatings applications.
- Support program decision‑making through data‑driven insights and recommendations.

Desired Skills
- Experienced with Radar Measurement Technology
- F-22 or other aircraft LO maintenance/troubleshooting experience
- Proven experience interfacing with diverse teams of contractors, military customers, and depot management
- Experience with Repair Verification Radar (RVR) or other zonal RCS equipment
- Familiarity with F-22 airframe design and coating materials and methods, aircraft systems and subsystems.
- Prior military service at multiple levels of fighter aircraft maintenance, logistics, and support preferred.
- Project management experience with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Strong communication skills (written and oral), with a willingness to engage with subject matter experts in a variety of different functional organizations.
- Previous experience in low observables (LO), survivability, or susceptibility
- Experience in radar cross section (RCS) design, Low Observable (LO) materials and processes
- Experienced in the application of aircraft spray material to include paint and/or LO material
- Project or program management, and execution of signature technology
- Ability to operate autonomously with minimal direction from management
- Proven experience interfacing with diverse teams of contractors, military customers, and depot management
