· Load and unload Express packages from air freight containers to and from semi-trucks in a widely dispersed area.
· Sorting, scanning and movement of small packages within the warehouse.
· Build up / Breakdown package containers ready for outbound/inbound flights
· Removal of tie-downs and other gear when loading and unloading
· Operate air freight handling equipment such as pallet jacks and gaylords (push carts)
· Weighing, labeling, or make/break-down of gaylords or air freight containers
· Check air express containers for proper piece count, weight, dimensions and documents as appropriate per air safety and security guidelines
· Report to position on time, as scheduled, including mandatory overtime requirements, varying shifts, weekends, and holidays
· Successfully complete required computer based and on the job trainings
· Adhere to company policies, procedures, and performance standards
· Perform all functions in accordance with safety procedures and policies
· Work outdoors with exposure to extreme weather/elements, engine noise, and noxious fumes
