Job Title: Executive – Revenue Management
Role Highlights / Summary
Responsible for maximizing airline revenue through pricing, inventory control, and demand forecasting. Supports achievement of unit revenue metrics such as PRASK in a competitive market environment. Role involves data-driven decision-making to optimize flight-level performance and revenue outcomes.
Key Responsibility
- Optimize Revenue on assigned flights.
- Meet monthly Revenue and Passenger Revenue per Available Seat Kilometers (PRASK) target.
- Inventory positioning on assigned flights based on demand and seasonal patterns.
- Monitor and adjust fares based on market inputs and demand, ensure IndiGo offers competitive fare.
- Coordination with sales teams and other stakeholders to understand the market scenario and position IndiGo's fare accordingly.
- Manage demand forecast by analyzing historical and future trends on assigned flights to ensure revenue maximization.
- Ensure that overbooking is economically viable.
- Utilize IndiGo’s RM systems to drive optimized revenue and calibrate system inputs to have optimized results.
- Comprehensive reporting of competitor activity.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of pricing, forecasting, and inventory management
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Data interpretation and reporting skills
- Good communication and stakeholder coordination
Qualifications And Experience
- Minimun Graduate required
- 1–2 years of relevant experience
- Exposure to data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.) preferred
