About the Role
We are currently supporting a leading aerospace and aviation organisation in Switzerland seeking an experienced Team Leader to oversee a helicopter maintenance team within a base maintenance environment. This position combines technical leadership, operational planning, compliance oversight, and people management to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coordinate, and develop a team of aircraft mechanics within a helicopter maintenance operation.
Plan workloads, allocate resources, and ensure efficient execution of maintenance activities.
Ensure maintenance, inspection, and modification work is completed safely, on time, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Coordinate closely with engineering, avionics, quality, airworthiness, and operational stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to processes, resource utilisation, and operational performance.
Monitor team performance and contribute to workforce planning, training, and capability development.
Promote a strong safety culture and maintain high quality standards throughout maintenance activities.
Prepare operational reports and support management with planning and decision-making.
Candidate Requirements
Several years of experience within helicopter maintenance, continuing airworthiness, or a related aviation technical environment.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience managing technical teams.
Strong understanding of aviation maintenance regulations and compliance requirements.
Project management experience within aviation or technical operations would be advantageous.
EASA Part-66 B1/B2 Licence and relevant helicopter type experience would be beneficial.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent German and strong English language skills.
