About the Role
We are currently supporting a leading aviation organisation in Switzerland seeking an Aircraft Mechanic Technician to join its maintenance team. This position offers the opportunity to work on military aircraft and aircraft components, supporting maintenance, repair, and modification activities both domestically and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, repair, and modification work on aircraft and aircraft components.
Ensure all assigned work is completed in accordance with approved procedures, technical documentation, and quality standards.
Organise and execute maintenance tasks efficiently and safely.
Manage material requirements and ensure timely ordering of parts and consumables.
Maintain an organised and compliant working environment.
Interpret and apply technical manuals, specifications, and maintenance instructions.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support a positive team culture.
Support maintenance activities both in Switzerland and, where required, internationally.
Candidate Requirements
Native Italian speaking and good technical English skills.
Basic knowledge of German and French would be beneficial.
Completed vocational training as a Polymechanic, Aircraft Mechanic, or equivalent technical qualification.
Previous experience in aircraft maintenance would be advantageous.
Experience on turboprop aircraft or military aviation platforms would be beneficial.
EASA Part-66 B1.1 Licence is considered an advantage.
Familiarity with common computer applications and ERP systems such as SAP.
Strong teamwork skills, initiative, and adaptability.
