About the Role
We are currently supporting a leading aerospace organisation in Switzerland seeking an experienced Polymechanic to join a specialised engine maintenance and manufacturing team. This position combines CNC machining, component manufacturing, repair activities, and technical support within a highly regulated aviation environment.
Key Responsibilities
Work as part of a specialised engine maintenance and manufacturing team.
Program and manufacture precision components, tools, and gauges using CNC-controlled machinery.
Produce and remanufacture parts based on technical drawings, specifications, and engineering sketches.
Carry out maintenance and repair activities on engine components, ground support equipment, and airfield facilities.
Support the upkeep, servicing, and maintenance of production machinery.
Assist with the management, maintenance, and control of testing equipment within the assigned area.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with quality, safety, and technical standards.
Candidate Requirements
Completed vocational training as a Polymechanic, CNC Machinist, Manufacturing Technician, or equivalent technical qualification.
Proven experience operating and programming CNC-controlled machines.
Background in precision mechanical manufacturing and machining.
Experience with CAD/CAM software, particularly hyperMILL, would be advantageous.
Strong quality awareness and commitment to safety standards.
Excellent German language skills and good technical English.
