As a Cargo Pricing & Revenue Management Co‑Op, you will work on analytically rigorous problems at the intersection of pricing optimization, demand modeling, and revenue maximization. You will support the Process, Development, and Innovation team in developing scalable tools and models that enable more precise, consistent, and automated pricing decisions.
This role is ideal for candidates interested in applying quantitative methods to real-time, high-impact commercial decisions.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Support development and enhancement of decision support systems for pricing optimization (e.g., Next Level Pricing platform)
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and statistical analysis to identify pricing, demand, and elasticity trends
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and performance metrics to monitor yield, revenue, and margin outcomes
- Apply structured problem-solving to ambiguous commercial challenges using quantitative frameworks
- Partner with analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytical solutions and models
- Contribute to process automation and scalability through data-driven workflows and tooling improvements

What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student pursuing an undergraduate degree in a 4-year academic institution.
- At least a 3.0 GPA on a 4-point scale.
- Must be available to work on a full-time basis for 3 alternating semesters: Fall 2026, Summer 2027, and Spring 2028.
- Please ensure that this alternative semester rotation works with your university, curriculum, and/or academic advisor before applying.
- Must be able to work onsite in our Atlanta, GA office for the duration of the Co-op.
- Strong foundation in quantitative analysis (statistics, optimization, or modeling)
- Strong analytical thinking, problem structuring, and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
- This position requires student to work for 3 alternating semesters. Student cannot actively take any courses (inclusive of online or in-person) and work as a Co-op/Intern at the same time, which may delay graduation by 1-2 semesters.
- Working as a Co-op/Intern does not guarantee a full-time opportunity at Delta Air Lines upon graduation. This position is intended to provide educational and professional work experience to prepare the student for the workforce.

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
- Preferred majors in Operations Research, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, or related field
- Experience with programming and data tools such as Python, SQL, R, or similar
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions such as pivot tables, lookups, and data manipulation)
- Exposure to optimization, forecasting, regression, or machine learning methods
- Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and extract actionable insights
- Interest in pricing strategy, revenue management, or applied analytics in transportation/logistics
