Job Description
Network Aviation is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Qantas Group, providing high-capacity air charter and RPT services. From our base at Perth Airport, we specialise in mining industry support, regional airline services, routine and emergency freight and corporate charter flying.

Aligning to the broader national QantasLink Strategy, the
Manager Health, Safety and Environment will lead the development and execution of Network Aviation’s Health, Safety & Environment strategy, ensuring continuous safety improvement and full compliance with all relevant legislation.
This role is responsible for designing and implementing management systems, frameworks, policies, procedures and programs that strengthen hazard identification, mitigation and resolution. You will drive the delivery of Qantas Group safety objectives, lead the safety risk framework across Network Aviation business units, and support key initiatives including mental health, human factors and biosecurity. The position also oversees the Environmental Management Plan to reduce environmental risks and achieve monthly and annual performance targets. A key focus of the role is fostering cultural and behavioural change to deliver measurable safety improvements, while managing and conducting audit and investigation activities across the organisation.
You’ll Have
- Tertiary qualification in Aviation Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, or related discipline (minimum Cert IV WHS)
- Minimum 3+ years’ relevant experience in HSE, safety systems, audit or investigation roles
- Demonstrated experience in HSE leadership within aviation or high-risk environments
- Strong experience designing procedures, frameworks and technical reports
- Proven ability to analyse data, apply root cause thinking, and deliver actionable insights
- Demonstrated ability to influence, engage and build relationships across all organisational levels
- Proven experience driving cultural change and safety improvement initiatives
