Position Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Create and maintain relationships with global stakeholders and work closely with them on planning, forecasting, execution and delivery.
- Lead a team of senior managers and select senior individual contributors performing engineering and technology work in the area of Application Software.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports across the global enterprise.
- Manage organization level budgets, schedule and overall performance standards across multiple projects.
- Develop and implement plans to ensure business, technical and customer requirements are addressed in an efficient and timely manner. Assign authority and responsibilities to employees to execute the plan. Review plans' execution, make appropriate adjustments, and resolve issues.
- Forecast resource needs and make hiring decisions. Coach, counsel, mentor and provide developmental opportunities and job assignments to enhance employee performance and expand capabilities. Provide on-going developmental feedback.
- Make compensation recommendations in regards to hiring salaries and salary review actions. Recognize contributions of individuals and teams to improve employee satisfaction and retain a skilled and motivated workforce. Enforce company rules and policies regarding ethical behavior, safety, security, use of company property, time charging, etc...
- Convey organizational messages to facilitate the accomplishment of workgroup, project or process goals. Proactively communicates with employees, peers and customers. Communicates policies and directives to enhance employee awareness of expectations.
- Provide direction and guidance to support the advancement of tools, processes, procedures with incorporation of industry best practices.
- Lead and deploy agile methodologies and other industry best practices across software lifecycle development.
- Lead organization level initiatives and coordinate activities across multiple engineering capabilities.
- Build and lead a highly engaged and motivated team.
- This position will require occasional travel within India and internationally.

Required Skills/Experience
- Demonstrated past experience in successfully leading large software organizations with multiple technical software development teams.
- Skilled in coaching and mentoring managers and staff members to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational challenges.
- Experienced in driving cross-organizational initiatives across engineering and other functions.
- Must have strong team building skills and demonstrated ability to accomplish results through direct reports, colleagues in other parts of an organization, and partners.
- Strong experience in all phases of the software development life cycle and agile methodology.
- Demonstrated software development leadership experience in a major aerospace organization; ability to understand, communicate and build strong partnerships with global executives/managers, and experts over a wide range of software engineering aspects.
- High level knowledge of application development in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, DevOps and AI/ML frameworks.
- Significant experience and expertise in end to end full stack software development.
- Systems Thinking - Ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of software engineering with other engineering disciplines and the impact of changes in one area on another area.
- Knowledge and understanding of technologies, policies and procedures related to engineering and other related functions in order to accomplish the business goals in a timely and efficient manner.
- Experienced in tracking and addressing Risks, Issues and Opportunities (RIO) at larger organizational level.
- Must have ability to accomplish results through effective collaboration working with all stakeholders including colleagues in other parts of Boeing and suppliers.
- Ability to work well with virtual teams across multiple time-zones and cultures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to prepare comprehensive reports, proposals, Statements of Work, and connect technology to business considerations (e.g., ROI).
- Candidate must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, high ethics, and a track record of working successfully under pressure in a time-constrained environment.
Typical Education & Experience:
Typically 21 or more years related work experience along with team management or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) Preferred, but not required.

This position does offer relocation within INDIA.
