About This Position
Our RTX ES HR & Payroll Digital Technology organization is looking for a Workday Recruiting Specialist in our Bangalore, India location. This role, on our HR Technology systems team, will provide support for our Workday Recruiting module.
As a
Workday Recruiting Specialist in our Bangalore, India location. This role, on our HR Technology systems team, you will provide Workday Recruiting support and guidance using your knowledge to optimize and simplify the Workday Recruiting module implementations across our business units (BU).
- Execute and monitor Workday Recruiting projects and change requests for existing, new and future configuration across the organization with an eye on scalability and successful operational transition into production
- Partner on design sessions with our Talent Acquisition partners to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements and document key decisions to maintain and optimize our current configuration
- Assess and translate new business requirements into Workday configuration
- Validate solutions through multiple cycles of hand-on data quality checks and business process testing
- Demonstrate prototype configuration for emerging Workday modules and capabilities
- Participate in an agile work environment with global implementation and operations teams
- Act as a point of escalation for Production Support team
- Assist with the definition and execution of standard work
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with subject matter experts in various areas of HR
- Act as liaison between Regional Leads, Functional COE and the HR BU’s and HR shared services
- Work with HR to organize and facilitate system related issues such as EIB loads & Security Assignments
- Coordinate the communication to HR, DT and Payroll system stakeholders for system related issues such system outages, changes, new functionality, etc.
- Identify opportunities for system and process improvements and work with the team to execute plan
Education / Certifications
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Workday Certification and experience required
Basic Qualifications
- You've obtained a bachelor’s degree.
- 6+ years of experience with HR systems
- 4+ years working in a Workday environment
Preferred Experience
- Knowledge in HR business processes and a passion in problem solving.
- Deep knowledge in Workday Recruiting platform, familiarity with other functional areas like Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, Learning & Reporting
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Workday certifications in Core HCM and/or Recruiting
- Ability to articulate in a clear, concise manner and effectively communicate complex technical information to functional COE and business unit teams
- Ability to think analytically and can effectively apply logic to solve problems.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, team environment or independently with limited direction.
- Self-starter with willingness to take initiative, support strategic priorities, take ownership of assigned projects/initiatives, and contribute to results and ability to work with a minimum supervision.
