Responsibilities
This 12 month FTC role is focused on establishing a strategy for improving performance of our value stream and managing customers and their critical programs.
Managing a cross functional team of Quality, Manufacturing, Design, Planning and Customer reps you will act rapidly to assess, recommend and drive the priorities that align to achieving success for us and our customers.
Your core responsibilities:
- Establishes and manages program charters, baseline plans, budgets, pricing, resource needs, and risk analysis to ensure customer requirements align with Parker.
- Leads integrated program planning and execution across the full lifecycle, including schedules, financial performance, quality tracking, corrective actions, and priority management.
- Organizes and directs cross-functional teams by defining required expertise, overseeing task planning, estimating resources, and providing performance feedback.
- Serves as the primary customer contact for assigned programs, managing status communication, issue resolution, scope changes, contract negotiations, and major program reviews.
Provides program management leadership, consultation, mentoring, and technical expertise while maintaining and sharing professional knowledge and best practice.
What we are looking for:
- Requires a degree in Engineering, Sciences, Business, or a related field, with PMP certification required.
- Typically requires eight or more years of relevant experience, including leadership of multiple complex projects and direct team leadership.
- Requires strong program management expertise, including knowledge of processes, methodologies, architecture, and the ability to lead cross-functional matrixed teams.
- Requires broad business, industry, aerospace contracting, procurement, financial, labour cost, and production process knowledge.
- Requires strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and software skills, including the ability to interpret complex policies, contracts, and financial reports.
