What will you do in the role?
As an
Engineering Administration Assistant, you will support the Engineering Administration team by coordinating and maintaining a variety of administrative processes that are essential to the smooth running of the Engineering operation.
You'll
- Coordinate and maintain colleague leave records, liaising with HR and Payroll where necessary.
- Support the administration of the MyJet2HR system, including colleague working patterns and contractor inductions.
- Maintain and distribute weekly staff movement reports to Engineering Management and other key stakeholders.
- Assist in providing roster and staffing information to support drug and alcohol testing requirements.
- Coordinate Engineering meeting room bookings and provide support to internal customers.
- Support the approval process for Engineering invoices, working closely with the Engineering Compliance Administrator and other departments.
- Build strong working relationships with Engineering teams across the network, including Station Engineers, Hangar Managers and Base Administrators.
- Liaise with departments including HR, Payroll and Finance to ensure administrative processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Provide ad hoc administrative support to the Engineering Administration team as required.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across Engineering Administration and Admin & Facilities to support departmental objectives.

We're looking for a proactive and organised individual with excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality administrative support.
You'll Have
- Previous experience in an administrative role within a busy environment.
- Strong data entry and record management skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
- A methodical and structured approach to problem solving.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A flexible approach and willingness to support a variety of administrative activities.
Desirable
- Previous experience within aviation, manufacturing, engineering, transport or another operationally-focused environment.
