Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and preventive tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of building systems and equipment. This position requires hands-on experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Inspect, diagnose, and correct issues with building infrastructure, equipment, and utilities.
- Maintain boilers, chillers, air handlers, exhaust fans, and other HVAC-related components.
- Install and repair electrical fixtures, outlets, wiring, and lighting systems in compliance with safety codes.
- Repair and maintain plumbing systems including valves, pumps, drains, and fixtures.
- Perform mechanical maintenance on motors, conveyors, compressors, and other equipment.
- Respond promptly to maintenance service requests and emergency calls.
- Complete maintenance logs, work orders, and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with facility improvement projects, equipment installations, and system upgrades.
- Ensure all work complies with OSHA regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
