What's the role on offer?
Based on site at our Head Office, this is an exciting specialist role within our HR team, working closely with operational teams across the business. As the
Employee Relations Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support on ER/IR matters to ensure compliance and best practices are maintained. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Serve as the primary contact for employees on Employee Relations (ER) and Industrial Relations (IR) matters.
- Assist in managing workplace grievances, performance management, and conducting workplace investigations.
- Provide timely advice on interpreting Awards and Enterprise Agreements, ensuring compliance.
- Oversee Parental Leave and Flexible Work Requests, in collaboration with the HR Administration Team.
- Support the development and delivery of ER training for managers and ensure compliance with HR policies and legislation.
- Manage Visa employee conditions and assist with Visa applications, while tracking compliance with relevant regulations.

Who we are looking for:
Our ideal candidate will be degree-qualified in Human Resources, Law, Workplace Relations, or possess related tertiary qualifications with relevant experience. You will be excited to take on new challenges and contribute to the growth of our organisation. Ideally, you will have a solid understanding of ER/IR frameworks and be ready to apply your knowledge in a dynamic environment. Your skills and experience will include:
- Degree-qualified in Human Resources, Law, Workplace Relations, or related field with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Employee Relations specialist role.
- Strong understanding of grievance management processes, procedural fairness, and statutory/regulatory ER/IR frameworks.
- Proven ability to apply ER practices to support business objectives and ensure compliance with Modern Awards/Enterprise Agreements.
- High emotional intelligence, with excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and communicate effectively across diverse teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, demonstrated through workplace investigations and conflict resolution.
- Professional, discreet, and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and judgment in sensitive matters.
