About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for Waiter/ Waitress, within Room Service - OH in Doha.
In this role, you will be responsible to provide professional service to Guests, ensuring that in-room dining is a memorable dining experience. Serve the food and beverages to the guest’s rooms in a professional, discreet and personalized way and ensuring to provide excellent quality service as per hotel standard operating procedure.
Key Accountabilities
- Perform all necessary tasks related to service of Food & Beverage according to the standards of performance manual of the Hotel.
- Greet all guests and serve them in a professional, discreet & personalized manner, while upholding the high-quality service expected by the hotel's standard operating procedure.
- Acquire in depth knowledge of the Food & Beverage menu in order to assist and provide advice/suggestions to guests.
- Consistently monitor quality of Food & Beverage being served by taking regularly guest feedback and sharing the feedback to the department head in order to identify any areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments to ensure that guests are satisfied with their dining experience.
- Practice good guest relations and attend to guest complaints / queries satisfactorily and take appropriate action to resolve the issue.
- Responsible for maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards and upkeep of all service equipment to ensure they meet health and safety regulations.
- Ensure guest payment details are dealt with as per the PCI (Payment card industry) requirements to ensure compliance.
- Responsible for all service preparations before, during & after the service (mise-en-place & mise-enscene).
- Actively use up selling techniques to exceed guest’s expectations and increase revenue.
- Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and employees’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment.
- Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures to maintain a secure and healthy environment for guests and staff.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualification
Minimum 2 years relevant experience in Hospitality / Food and Beverage industry, basic Literacy and Numeracy skills, English communication skills with Entry level roles.
Essential
Job Specific Skills
- Fluency in both written and spoken English.
Preferred
- Knowledge of Arabic.
- Knowledge of Micros system.
