Benefits Coordinator is available onsite in Columbus, OH. The Benefits Coordinator operates under general supervision of the Senior Manager of Benefits & Compensation. This position assists with the daily interpretation and administration of the Company’s benefits and company-sponsored wellness programs including but not limited to plan options, policy features, enrollment, and other requirements.

Responsibilities
- Act as first point of contact for the Benefits Team answering inquiries from employees and internal/external business partners. Research issues, ensure quick, accurate, and courteous responses and resolution.
- Manage inquiries/questions sent via Benefits inbox and phone.
- Assist with annual projects, including but not limited to coordination and scheduling of: Open Enrollment, Flu Shot Clinic, Biometrics, and other wellness events and maintain communication as needed.
- Coordinate and schedule quarterly Benefits Committee meetings, Retirement Committee meetings and other benefit meetings with third-party vendors and benefit events.
- Deliver new hire orientation and support open enrollment activities and presentations.
- Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes.
- Maintain demographic data (new hires, terms, address changes) within our recordkeeping system for our retirement plans and other carriers.
- Update ADP employee enrollments of plan elections/terminations/EOI/ etc.
- Assist with QLE’s.
- Maintain data entry related to carrier input for GMJ Air Shuttle and other entities as applicable.
- Assist and coordinate other projects.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Relevant experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
- Entry level 0-1 years of experience related to compensation, benefits, or employee benefits administration experience preferred.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Commitment to exemplary customer service philosophy.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Able to work quickly and accurately to meet deadlines of multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
- Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion, sensitivity, and good judgement.
Nice to Have:
- Working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now software
- Basic knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, including the ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, and Section 125.
