Key Responsibilities
- Author, revise and handle technical manuals, company manuals or maintenance program task cards used to accomplish scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair of United aircraft. Collaborate with Aircraft Maintenance, Engineering and other Tech Ops groups to facilitate documentation updates to support an evolving operation. Runs workload in accordance with detailed policies, procedures and business requirements, maintaining the highest level of compliance and safety.
- Build, revise and maintain technical manuals, company manuals, or task cards
- Provide support to the airline operation, fielding inquiries from maintenance and other operational divisions
- Conduct peer to peer reviews and routine audits to ensure compliance to company and regulatory standards
- Provide administrative support and grants access to internal/external customers

NOTE: This position is based at the CSC - Willis Tower, located in Chicago, IL. and considered as a hybrid work-schedule working Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in office. However, that may evolve with the needs of the company.

Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Associate’s degree or 2 years of relevant work experience
- Technical Writing, Communications, Aviation Management, Engineering
- 0-2 years of related experience
- Aviation, military or equivalent industry experience, XML authoring or equivalent knowledge
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
- 3-5 years’ of related experience
- Airframe and Powerplant License
- S1000D and/or Spec2000, Boeing Toolbox, FoxPro (Visual Studio), MS SQL Server, Adobe Acrobat, Bluestream, Aircraft Maintenance Knowledge
