About The Role & Team
The Project Manager is responsible for managing all activities of SITA’s Offshore Supplier Management Program These include primarily supporting Project delivery on all engagements, relationship with supplier and internal stakeholders and overall account management of the business with the supplier. The job requires interest and understanding of internal customer's business and operating environment and apply that understanding to establish a partnership with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure project delivery meets expectations. This role is responsible for the success of programs/projects, delivering on the agreed contractual deliverables, ensuring business objectives of the project are understood by the supplier; and supplier adheres to scope, schedule, budget and quality.
What You’ll Do
Initiation Phase
- Draft and coordinate RFI/RFP processes, managing the entire cycle from initial creation to supplier evaluation and selection, ensuring alignment with project goals and organizational requirements.
- Review, draft, and validate SOWs and Change Orders to ensure compliance with supplier MSAs, while providing advisory support during contract negotiations and offshore engagements to optimize outcomes.
Execution Phase
- Support the management of the project under the agreed plan and scope. Track progress in activity and deliverables completion, and quality levels reached against the plans and take actions to recover any discrepancies;
- Validate all scope changes. Generate Change Request Forms as required and obtain appropriate internal customer and internal approvals, in line with project governance standards.
- Ensure all projects are executed as per agreed MSA, SOW's/ SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and report service performance back to internal clients
- Facilitate project review and Steering committee meetings. Review meeting materials prior to the meeting and follow up with meeting actions and minutes
- Maintain Project RAID (Risk Action Issue Decision) registers and RAG (Red Amber Green) status for all active engagements and constantly review status and updates with supplier and internal stakeholders to anticipate and resolve issues and risks
Management & Administration
- Monitor and facilitate the infrastructure needs of the suppliers. Liaise with the infrastructure and operations team to ensure the network availability, applications access and ensure any SITA provided infrastructure at supplier premise is well managed
- Review the periodic supplier compliance and security reports to ensure SITA policies are adhered to at all times. Maintain SOW reports, resource reports and other adhoc reports as requested
- Consult / Advise SITA stakeholders and suppliers on all matters from pre-engagement to project close out and contract termination
Qualifications
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering, preferably with a background in software development.
- Project Management training or certification (PMP preferred) and DevOps training or certification.
- 8-10 years of experience in IT development roles and Project Management, preferably in a multi-national environment working with internal teams and external contractors.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with traditional SDLC, Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and Iterative Development methodologies.
- Sound understanding of MSAs, SOWs, and contracts, with demonstrated ability to review, draft, and negotiate terms, commercials, and service level agreements.
- Proven ability to focus on value creation, value measurement, and delivering impactful results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to deliver effective presentations.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office products and other productivity tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to address challenges and provide actionable solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships at peer and management levels, manage priorities effectively under pressure, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
NICE-TO-HAVE
- Hands on prior experience as a project team member in any of these; Business Analyst, Process/System Analysts, Architect, Developer, QA, Team Lead; will be considered a strong PLUS
