About The Role & Team
As a
Lead Network Infrastructure Architect you will be accountable for designing the technology architecture structure across platforms and networks in accordance to the business requirements and relevant vendor capabilities. In particular, support the technical design, the development and the implementation of the SITA SDWAN Solution.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze the technological needs of customers on WAN and SDWAN Architecture and provide ongoing support for clients.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders withing SITA (Product, Operations..) to meet SDWAN project objectives.
- Design infrastructure platform roadmaps, relevant platform network, hardware virtualization and interactive solutions according to existing strategies, processes and standards.
- Support the validation through lab and pilots.
- Be the expert level of support for Deployment during service activation and transition phase
- Analyze implications of technology evolution on product portfolio and recommend evolutions
- Support both Solution Designers and Project Managers on customer projects and Operations in case of problem escalation
Qualifications
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS
- 8+ years experience in network and IT environment.
- Expertise in network design, operational support, hands-on implementation and configuration of network elements
- Experience and Industry certification in Network domain/products in particular on SDWAN is desirable
- Advanced knowledge of network and security protocols
- Degree in a technical discipline (e.g. Computer Science Engineering Mathematics etc.) or sufficient work experience to demonstrate proficiency at this level.
- Excellent communication skills. Must be able to interact with internal stakeholders, customers, business partners and represent SITA
