Brief About the Role
The EFB Executive will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) systems, ensuring seamless availability, compliance, and operational efficiency for flight crew. The role involves application management, troubleshooting, inventory control, and technical documentation updates.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).
- Prior experience in manuals/documentation/publishing is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage structured documentation processes.
Job Responsibilities
- EFB System & Application Management
- Manage and support iOS-based EFB applications used by flight crew.
- Perform regular system checks, updates, and configuration management of EFB devices.
- Troubleshoot application and device-related issues to ensure minimal operational disruption.
- Helpdesk & Ticket Management
- Provide end-to-end support for EFB-related queries through helpdesk/ticketing systems.
- Track, prioritize, and resolve incidents within defined SLAs.
- Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors for issue resolution.
- EFB Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate records of all EFB devices, accessories, and allocations.
- Track device lifecycle, including issuance, returns, repairs, and replacements.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with inventory controls.
- Fleet EFB Updates & Configuration
- Plan and execute updates across the EFB fleet (applications, OS, documents).
- Ensure all devices are aligned with current operational and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor update success rates and address any deployment issues.
- Technical Library Management
- Update and maintain EFB technical documents (manuals, charts, regulatory content).
- Ensure timely upload of revisions in line with DGCA/Company requirements.
- Verify accuracy and accessibility of content across all devices.
