We have an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Planner to support our Toronto, ON office on a diverse range of projects across Canada throughout various stages of planning and delivery:
· Transportation, including transit, rail, roadway, highway and bridge projects
· Water and wastewater infrastructure, including treatment plants and conveyance
· Other civil and land use projects In this role you will have the opportunity to contribute to these projects through activities including:
· Managing environmental assessments
· Obtaining environmental permits and approvals
· Consulting with stakeholders and regulatory agencies
· Drafting various public- and client-facing reports and documents
· Coordinating public engagement Reviewing environmental plans and reports
· Supporting project pursuits and proposals · Coordinating with project teams consisting of numerous roles and disciplines, including planners, engineers, clients, subcontractors and governmental authorities * Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field (Engineering, Environmental Studies, Urban Planning, etc.)
* 3+ years of relevant experience
* Advanced technical writing abilities
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* A great attitude and a willingness to learn!
