Finance Analyst is available onsite in Columbus, OH. The Finance Analyst responsibilities include preparing and maintaining accurate financials, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations, and contributing to the efficient financial management of aircraft operations. You will assist in the preparation of financial reconciliations and statements, support audits, and assist in the close process and analysis for aviation-related results.

Your Responsibilities
Accounting Functions
- Daily Accounts Receivable Invoicing for completed Flight Charter Trips.
- General Ledger Management: Prepare and record journal entries to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Audit and Compliance: Coordinate and support any audit documentation, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, contracts, regulations, and company policies.
- Monitor bank postings and reconcile.
- Monitor and reconcile Credit Card GL accounts.
- Business partner with A/P and Credit Card team..
- Vendor Reconciliation Review.
Finance Functions
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly aircraft statements.
- Accounts Payable and expense review and reclassifications, as needed.
- Variance Analysis: Analyze and explain variances in P&L of assigned aircraft statements.
- Analyze financial performance, including variances from budgets and forecasts, and provide insights to management.
General Functions
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhance controls and systems, and improve financial reporting efficiency.
- Balance Sheet Review: Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts with proper documentation and support, as needed.
- Data Management and Systems: Effectively utilize and maintain financial data and reports in corresponding financial systems.
- Support the development and implementation of new financial systems and tools.

Required education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
- Entry level, 0-3 years’ experience in an accounting role.
- Strong organizational, attention to detail, and time management skills.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluency in English required.
