Qatar Airways have embarked on an exciting transformation journey to change how we interact with our customers. As part of this journey, we are now recruiting HR Officer for our Western Europe Region.
As the HR Officer Western Europe based in Paris, you will provide support to line managers in the areas of employee relations, compensation and benefits, leadership development, performance management and talent management.
You will provide HR support across the Western Europe region which includes - France, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal Belgium.
Key Accountabilities Include
- Join the HR local team as HR generalist partner.
- Support 2 HR Managers (HR Manager France, Belgium and Netherlands, and HR Manager Spain and Portugal) on the day-to-day management of HR tasks and subjects of Western Europe Region.
- Provide a range of HR services to support the end to end employee experience in all departments including Commercial, Ground Services, Shared Service and Cargo in the Western Europe region.
- Enhance the employee experience locally by declining the process of the group in the entire Western Europe region.
- Work as a real team player within the HR local team
- Collaborate with the HR coordinator, HR administrative and payroll assistant through employee relations issues in the region of Western Europe.
- Collaborate with HR centres of excellence in Doha to implement company-wide and the Regional HRBP Western Europe
- Work closely with the HR administrative and payroll assistant, all matters related to the administration of employment records and related documents (including terms of employment, contract renewals, probation reports, end of employment reports, termination checklists, employee records and files) and ensure compliance to local labour requirements and Qatar Airways standards and policies.
- Prepare the KPI and data for the Work Council
- Support RHRBP for HR group project, HR local project with the collaboration of the 2 HR managers.
Qualification
Qualifications -
To be considered for this role, you will have the following:
- Relevant College or University qualification to minimum Bachelor's level within Human Resources or a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years Generalist HR experience within a fast paced, multi-site, and ever changing environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of employment law and other government compliance regulations e.g. health and safety.
- Significant experience in employee relations, organisational change.
- Fluency in English, and French both written and spoken is preferred for this role, and fluency in Spanish and/or Dutch is preferable.
- You must have the right to live and work in Europe to be considered for this role.
- The role will involve occasional travel to our sites within France as well as Spain, Netherlands, Belgium , Portugal.
