About The Role & Team
The Senior Accountant is responsible for completing a range of financial activities related to Group Treasury Accounting in coordination with the external provider. You will be responsible for controlling the quality and completeness of accounting activities, maintenance of the banking system (Kyriba) and reporting to the Management as part of the monthly financial close.
What You’ll Do
- Daily operation and control of the Treasury accounting activities in close cooperation with the external provider and Head Office Treasury team.
- End to end accounting control and provide accounting guidance and support to the Accounting team of the external provider.
- Review and assessment of the monthly bank reconciliations and other financial analysis prepared by the external provider.
- Review of selected P&L accounts (bank charges, etc.) and their monthly trend.
- Maintenance of the 3rd party tool Kyriba (admin role) related to bank accounting (communication with IT, control of interface Kyriba vs Oracle, correction & load of rejected transactions, mapping of new codes, maintaining the platform- GL scheme, application list and their mapping)
- Prepare and provide various reports to Finance Management (incl. explanation of movements), reports from Kyriba tool.
- Quarterly reporting on banks provided to the Management.
- Participate to various accounting activities as requested by SITA Finance Management
- Support audit activities (communication with the Auditors and Third-party Compliance provider, ad hoc requests, ad hoc reconciliations, etc.)
Qualifications
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS
- University Degree in Accounting/ Finance.
- 3-5 years work experience in a Treasury accounting environment preferably within a medium to large international company with a matrix business structure
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas, etc.)
- Experience using ERP platform
- Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Good communication skills (ability to write and speak English)
NICE-TO-HAVE
- Experience using ERP platform (Kyirba)
