The Aerospace Experienced Commercial Leadership Program (ECLP) Is a Best-in-class Mid-career Level Leadership Program Designed To Build The Next Generation Of Commercial Leaders At GE Aerospace. This Intensive 3-year Rotational Program Accelerates The Career Of High Potential Talent Through Challenging Commercial Rotational Experiences, Robust Training, Coaching And Development Opportunities, As Well As Executive Level Mentorship. During The Three Years On Program, ECLPs Will Experience
- Three challenging one-year assignments within GE Aerospace’s Commercial Engines and Services division
- A robust learning curriculum centered around the development of our core commercial competencies including customer advocacy, technical depth, negotiation skills, financial acumen, product management, and leadership
- Continuous improvement activities such as action planning, problem solving, kaizens, standard work, and operating cadences aligned with our operating model – FLIGHT DECK
- Mentorship, access, and visibility to senior leadership across the commercial organization
- Direct exposure to customers, suppliers, and joint venture partners
- An annual ECLP Welcome Day and ECLP Seminar, designed to support development, build leadership capabilities, share best practices as well as lessons learned and foster camaraderie amongst the ECLP classes and community
- Potential for international assignment experiences aligned with individual development and business needs
Program Minimum Requirements
To be eligible for consideration, candidates at a minimum are required to have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or Supply Chain Management from an accredited university or college
- Between 7-10 years of aviation full-time working experience
- Geographic mobility while on program to any of our commercial hub locations including Cincinnati, Dubai, London, Shanghai, and Singapore
- Willingness to travel up to 20% per year while on program to support business needs
- Existing China work authorization
- The home base for this position will be Shanghai, China. Thus, candidates should expect an in person working arrangement and possess work authorization to be considered for this specific opportunity. While on program, there may be opportunities per business needs for candidates tied to this working location to accept temporary international rotational assignments at one of our other commercial hub locations. In these instances, the business will work with the individual(s) to provide temporary relocation and work authorization support.
Program Desired Requirements
Desirable candidates will also possess:
- Master’s Degree or MBA in Engineering, Finance, Business, or Supply Chain Management
- Passion to gain a deeper understanding of the commercial function and driving success for Aerospace with internal/ external stakeholders, our customers, partners and colleagues
- Ability to lead and deliver on result orientated priorities using strong project management, analytical, time management and prioritization skills
