What will your daily tasks look like?
- You identify the best suppliers through market research and price comparisons and build a good supplier portfolio;
- You maintain good relationships with existing supplier partners;
- You conduct commercial negotiations and strive to achieve the best possible terms in terms of price, quality, delivery time, payment conditions, etc.;
- You prepare tenders for non-food items, locally or in collaboration with corporate, and propose the best supplier;
- You ensure that the correct data is in the ERP system and monitor delivery to the workplace;
- You act as the point of contact for both internal customers and suppliers and answer questions about orders, changes, delivery requirements, cancellations, etc.;
- You intervene in case of incorrect deliveries, price discrepancies on invoices, and other issues, and try to resolve them as quickly as possible;
- You ensure that various procedures are followed and correctly applied, such as HACCP, Safety, Allergens, etc.;
- You collaborate with your colleagues in purchasing and food planning to ensure a smooth service.
Who are we looking for?
- You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience;
- You have at least some initial experience in the field, preferably within food services;
- You speak fluent Dutch, French, and English;
- Knowledge of SAP is an asset;
- You are proficient in office tools (advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
- You are accurate, analytical, and service-oriented;
- You are assertive and a natural negotiator.
