JOB SUMMARY:Project Manager to lead and manage strategic projects that align with our business goals and will possess extensive project management experience and demonstrate strong leadership capabilities to drive cross-functional teams toward successful project completion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
Utilize project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) to effectively guide project phases from initiation to closure.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with executive leadership, department heads, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, align project goals, and manage expectations.
- Facilitate regular communication with stakeholders through updates, presentations, and reports.
Risk Assessment and Management:
- Identify potential risks and issues early in the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
- Monitor risk factors throughout the project and adjust plans as necessary to maintain project health
Team Leadership and Coordination:
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Assign responsibilities and ensure team members understand their roles and contributions to the project.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor project progress and success.
- Prepare detailed project status reports for senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and next steps.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial resources are used efficiently.
- Oversee resource allocation to optimize team performance and project outcomes.
Continuous Improvement:
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and best practices for future projects.
- Champion process improvements and methodologies to enhance project management capabilities within the organization.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5-10 years of experience in project management, particularly with large-scale and strategic projects.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery and team leadership.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello).
- Enthusiasm / Innovation / fresh perspective / ability to learn quickly
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in budget management and resource allocation.
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Experience in Information Technology is a plus.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
