About You:
The Technical Records Administrator is responsible for the tracking, storage, and administration of aircraft records and record keeping system. They are responsible to process and update the Computerized Maintenance Tracking system with current and accurate data in a timely manner.
What You’ll Do:
- Process all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as recorded in the aircraft logbook
- Perform all component label booking in the CMTS
- Close and report back all individual Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP) tasks
- Close and report back all maintenance check packages
- Recognize & troubleshoot technical errors in the logbook system and find a solution to rectify the errors
- Maintain complete and accurate Airworthiness Directive files
- Record the standby compass readings and produce monthly compass monitoring reports and graphs
- Enter all aircraft flight utilization in the CMTS
- Audit computerized maintenance tracking system and perform corrections to aircraft utilization
- Ensure all header blocks are accurately filled out
- Ensure MEL and deferral blocks are filled out as required
- Ensure all serialized component information is documented and accurate
- Ensure an aircraft maintenance release is present and signed by an authorized individual for all entries made in the technical record
- Review and collate sequentially all technical records including log books, check packages, and workorders
- Audit for accuracy and ensure all non-technical corrections are made
- Create and bookmark electronic copies of all technical records including log books, check package, and task cards
- Maintain a detailed register of all historical technical records
What You’ll Need:
- Possess a strong understanding of maintenance terminology and acronyms, focus and attention to detail, ability to recognize errors and take appropriate action
- 3-5 years total work-related experience
- 3-5 years supervisory/management experience required
