Role Introduction
Reports To: Cargo Marketing Manager
The Assistant Marketing Manager is accountable to support the growth of Cathay Pacific Cargo brand and customer reach through implementation and execution of integrated branding, marketing and communications plans across multiple channels and functions (social media, performance marketing, branding & PR, trade show and event) to both internal and external audience.
Key Responsibilities
The Assistant Manager Cargo Marketing plays an important role in helping Cathay Cargo to build brand awareness, drive brand consideration, increase customer loyalty, and deliver revenue globally.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the Cargo Marketing team in developing and implement global B2B marketing campaign strategy and planning including offline, online and social media advertising, product marketing, brand positioning and promotion plans.
- Prepare insightful and actionable brief to creative and media agencies and drive quality output to archive defined business and marketing objectives.
- Manage agency and in-house resources to create and execute media campaigns across relevant communication channels to drive engagement and lead generation.
- Facilitate regional teams in enhancing brand awareness by rolling out both global and locally adapted communications.
- Drive the revamp of cargo solutions and oversees website content updates by collaborating with internal teams and external business partners.
- Coordinate press releases, interviews, and media coverage.
- Monitor campaign budgets & results to ensure all campaigns have a positive ROI and minimal variance against targeted forecasting.
- Coach and supervise Marketing Officer in daily routine for quality output.
Requirements
List requirements for the position:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
- 5-7 years of relevant marketing experience and preferably with a B2B marketing focus. Air cargo, transportation or logistics background would be advantageous.
- Awareness of the latest marketing trend and ability to recommend new ideas to enhance strategy.
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across and outside the organization at all levels.
- Detailed-oriented, with strong project management skills and performance-driven mindset.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively under tight deadlines
