Report ToMarketing Manager, Australia & New Zealand
Position Summary - Accountable for driving revenue through IBE and digital channels by planning, executing, and monitoring comprehensive digital marketing campaigns that address all key commercial pillars.
- Reporting to Marketing Manager, Australia & New Zealand and works closely with marketing team members across all regions to achieve revenue objectives.
- Provides opportunities for excellence and exposure in a global marketing environment, offering significant learning and growth potential.
Key Accountability - Support the Australian & New Zealand Marketing team by:
- Developing digital and content strategy marketing plans with in-house and agency partners under senior guidance.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams (sales, creative, revenue management, etc.) to ensure timely execution of campaigns.
- Ensure campaigns are well executed and aligned with HQ
- Responsible for preparing all reports required by HQ and other external stakeholders.
- To coordinate and manage content and campaigns on malaysiaairlines.com for Australia and New Zealand.
- To assist marketing campaign across all channels including digital, PR, events and campaign management.
- To track campaign performance and recommend improvements to ensure marketing objectives are met.
- Stay informed about the latest digital and social trends and emerging technologies to uncover new revenue opportunities.
- Perform market research to ensure we remain competitive and relevant in market
- Perform Ad hoc tasks as needed.
Qualification & Working Experience - Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, E commerce or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- 2-4 years of experience
Area of Experience - Proven experience in executing integrated consumer marketing campaigns across the full marketing mix
- Experience in digital/performance marketing is preferred. Proficiency with advertising platforms such as Meta and Google.
- Strong understanding of consumer behaviour in response to advertisements.
- Comprehensive knowledge of marketing principles and best practices, including brand management, market segmentation, and marketing communications.
- Expertise in market research and analysis, with a demonstrated ability to extract actionable insights from data.
- Proficiency in utilizing marketing tools and platforms, including digital marketing and analytics tools.
- Previous experience in the travel industry, exposure to working within a performance-based environment.
