Technical Operations
Technical Operations includes the maintenance, and overhaul of our aircraft. This includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams and more.
Job Overview And Responsibilities
The Supply Chain Operations department plays a key role in maintaining a smooth operation in our Hangar and Terminal. This position requires working from the Hangar and occasionally from the Terminal, as directed by the supervisor.
- Coordinate invoices and Airway Bill pre-alerts originating outside Brazil from our warehouses and vendors before and during the import process to avoid fines
- Oversee all Bonded Facilities for Technical Operations at both GRU & GIG, ensuring strict compliance with Brazilian Customs regulations.
- Clear AOG process alongside Customs
- Review and reconcile broker and vendor invoices for payment
- Review paperwork before submitting it to brokers for Import and Export Declarations
- Control all exports and prepare invoices for brokers, ensuring adherence to aircraft post-check deadlines
- Meet aircraft arrivals daily to ensure all Comat material has arrived
- Check with customs for any documentation issues and follow the material to TECA, verifying it with cargo before submitting the Import Declaration to brokers for processing
- Track all import and export registrations with brokers daily
- Control all Comat arrivals pulled from TECA, both online and physically, before the material enters the Hangar warehouse
- Oversee the contracted Customs system, managing the balance of imported materials under tax suspension, user management, and reconciling physical and system inventory to ensure regulatory compliance
- Manage discrepancy processes with Customs to ensure documentation is ready for registration in a timely manner and maintain records of all post-checks for aircraft

Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have experience working with Brazilian Customs for at least 2 years
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle paperwork quickly and accurately
- Capable to work under minimum or no supervision
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in Brazil for any employer without sponsorship
- Must be able to travel to US for training if required
- Must be legally authorized to work in Brazil for any employer without sponsorship
- Must be fluent in English and Portuguese (written and spoken)
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
