Working directly for the Chief Project Engineer –the Engineering Programme Manager will provide technical coordination and engineering programme management for a team of engineers of varying experience, in support of all engineering objectives. You will also be a primary point of contact for the (Engineering Management and Coordination Group), driving cohesion between the Roll-Royce, and our partner companies engineering programmes to ensure robust, timely programme delivery.

What you be doing:
• Assist the Chief Engineer and Project Technical Management Team in ensuring
compliance with the group Product Safety and Health, Safety and
Environment policies and processes
• Robustly perform the required priority, tasking and engineering programme
management to ensure right-first-time, on-time
delivery in accordance with programme requirements and approved budget
• Be a key internal and external customer technical interface, working with the CPE to
translate customer technical requirements into Programme objectives
• Lead the robust integration of bottom-up plans into Rolls-Royce and
overall Enterprise Master Schedules
• Lead the Project’s risk management activities, ensuring appropriate and consistent
identification, mitigation and escalation of risks with the Rolls-Royce Project team and across
the Partner Companies
• Support work-package creation and planning in conjunction with the Rolls-Royce Group Engineering Functions for deployed resources which may be based remotely from your location
- Assist the CPE to ensure a strict adherence to the divisional security policy in the
Programme Engineering Team team per all applicable customer, partner and consortium
requirements, including Export Control and Product Cyber)
- Work with the Chief Engineer and Project Technical Management Team to
proactively identify the required engineering skills development pipeline and
capacity required, influencing group Engineering resource allocation priority.
Support Divisional and Group Strategic Workforce Planning activities as
required

- Previous/Current experience working as a Programme Manager in an Engineering Environment
- Project Management Office
- Previous experience leading a Team
- Qualified to at least degree level.
- Risk Management experience
