Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Program Manager with 8 to 12 years of experience in project management to join our team in Gurugram. The ideal candidate will hold certifications like PMP or PRINCE2 and have a graduate degree in a relevant field. This position will focus on managing multiple projects efficiently, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with the organization’s goals. The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing project governance, cost management, resource allocation, stakeholder communication, and process improvements.
A key aspect of this role involves setting up and maintaining effective project governance frameworks. The Program Manager will ensure that all projects follow best practices and methodologies, aligning with the organization's objectives. Regular project audits and reviews will be conducted to assess progress, with corrective measures taken when necessary to ensure the health of the project.
Cost management is another crucial responsibility. The Program Manager will develop and monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and provide financial reports to stakeholders. The Program Manager will handle onboarding and allocation of both internal and external resources, including contractors and third-party vendors. They will ensure optimal resource utilization across projects, adjust resource distribution as needed, and provide training to enhance the team's capabilities.
Collaboration with project managers and stakeholders is essential for successful project planning and execution. The Program Manager will help design comprehensive project plans, track progress, and address risks. They will proactively identify risks, update risk registers, and communicate with stakeholders to mitigate potential issues and keep projects on track.
Effective stakeholder management is vital for success in this position. The Program Manager will engage with key stakeholders to ensure that project objectives are aligned with the broader business goals. Transparent communication and managing expectations are important for maintaining smooth coordination between teams and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, along with proficiency in tools like ServiceNow, MS Project, and JIRA. The role demands strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects under pressure. Experience managing digital transformation or IT projects, particularly in the aviation sector, is highly preferred.
