We're currently hiring full-time FLT - Warehouse Operatives to work at Glasgow Airport (PA3 2ST) for a major freight and logistics company that offer great work opportunities. This is a permanent opportunity and will require the successful individual to work Monday to Friday role working a fixed shift between the hours of 12.30hrs – 20.30hrs LOCATION: Glasgow airport STATUS: Temp to Perm Shift pattern: Monday - Friday Hours: 12.30 pm to 20.30pm Warehouse Operative duties will include: • Load and off-load freight from and onto vehicles. • Place and retrieve freight in and from storage areas. • Good experience using FLT • Build cargo onto aircraft containers to airline specifications. • Complete documentation to record details and movement of freight, mail and equipment. • Complete necessary checks on imports/exports to ensure company and customer requirements are being met. The skills and experience we require for this Warehouse Operative role: • Warehouse experience gained from a similar environment. • FLT licence in date prefer to have your own licence. • Must have 6 months minimum experience. • Ability to carry out repetitive lifting and manual tasks. • Counterbalance forklift driving experience is an essential advantage. • Good written and verbal communication skills. Incentives we offer for this Warehouse Operative role: • £14.51 p/h basic • Weekly or Monthly pay. • Full training will be provided. • Free onsite car park. • Permanent contract • 37 ½ hrs – 44 hrs per week guaranteed.
