Position Summary
You will be required to Perform all laser operations and support bonding operations including TIG welding where required
Core Responsibilities
·Undertake training in the operation of the Laser machine.
·Ability to manually load sheet material to laser’s bed
·Basic Program ability for Laser machine for sheet metal cutting through varying plate designs.
·Setup plate alignment Jigs in-between production runs
·Achieve resultant good quality laser cut plates within given tolerances.
·Undertake operator level TPM activities to maintain the machines efficiency and life.
·Ability to oversee Nitrogen usage and manage gas changeovers for the machine
·Operator (Advanced) ability to develop others in laser operational basics
·Full understanding in Etched Plate inspection and acceptance criteria and support Bonding operations
Field of Study/Area of Experience
Previous experience of laser cutting or machine setting within a manufacturing production environment
