The role involves translating technical requirements into executable solutions, maintaining and optimizing current systems, and contributing to the development of new applications.
The consultant will provide technical expertise and hands-on development support for new applications, system enhancements, integrations, and production issues.
Qualifications and Education RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, MIS, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in information technology with hands-on development or systems analyst role.
Experience in programming, systems design, and the implementation of large-scale, enterprise-level applications.
Technical Competencies/Skills:
- Experience with SharePoint development including form design, workflows, and integration with other systems.
- Experience in SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) to design, deploy, and optimize complex reports and dashboards.
- Skilled in SQL Server development, including T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
- Experience in SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Proficient in .NET Development.
- Solid understanding of system design principles and experience with large-scale application architecture, including scalability, maintainability, and performance tuning.
- Understanding of DevOps principles and tools to support application deployment and lifecycle management.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills with experience in production environments.
- Experience with security best practices for applications and data protection.
Soft Competencies/Skills:
- Comfortable adapting to changing priorities, emerging technologies, and evolving project requirements.
- Strong understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality and ensuring that sensitive information is safeguarded during development, testing, and deployment.

- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results under pressure.
Essential Functions
- Translate business and technical requirements into executable solutions by developing, modifying, and maintaining systems. (SharePoint, SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, .NET, etc.).
- Contributes to the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-level applications, including batch processing, reporting, and integration processes.
- Work closely with business users, system analysts, and other IT teams to ensure technical solutions meet business needs and are aligned with system requirements.
- Develop and execute testing procedures for system enhancements and new applications. Ensure that systems meet quality standards and function as expected before deployment.
- Assist in the development of user procedures, guides, and training materials. Provide user training on applications and ensure that users are equipped to effectively operate the developed systems.
