Payroll Specialist – 12 Months FTC

As part of the Payroll team, you will interact daily with employees and managers across easyJet's operations. The team supports all countries where easyJet has a base, including the UK, Netherlands, France, Germany, Italy, Austria, Portugal, and Spain.
Your primary responsibility will be managing the payroll process for your assigned countries or bases, which involves collaborating with third-party vendors and engaging with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
What You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will ensure payroll compliance with local legislation while managing accurate and timely payroll processes. You’ll handle payroll transactions, reconcile data, and liaise with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders. Key responsibilities include resolving cases within SLAs, managing issue logs, performing peer checks, and ensuring compliance with tax and social security regulations. You'll also contribute to process improvements, system updates, and collaborate with base management teams across the network. This position requires precision, flexibility, and a proactive approach to maintaining payroll accuracy and efficiency.
What You'll Bring To The Team
You’ll bring a strong understanding of payroll legislation, processes, and policies, applying this expertise across easyJet’s network. Confident and credible, you’ll represent Payroll effectively to the business, HR stakeholders, and team members. With experience in managing high-volume, complex payroll environments and a keen eye for detail, you’ll ensure accuracy and compliance.
Your excellent IT skills, familiarity with tools like Workday, and ability to collaborate across the network will support smooth operations. The role also requires professional and empathetic interactions with employees and stakeholders, along with proficiency in both local and English languages. Flexibility to travel across the easyJet network is essential.

Location & Hours of Works
This full-time role will be 40 hours per week and will be hybrid working 3 days a week based in Luton.
