Job Summary
The Global Resource Manager- Planning is the key driver of our planning support across Swissport’s business enabling stations to efficiently create and implement a resource plan according to customer SLAs and/or global engagement standards.
Job Responsibilities
· Govern and own the end to end, Global Resource Management process and drive the content of group level policies, procedures, standards and systems.
· You will be the company’s Global Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Planning including all planning related systems.
· Have oversight of and support all elements within the Resource Management Scope- including rostering and allocation. You will be able to support all work streams as dictated by business requirements.
· Provide first line support for regional planning teams in regard to process, training and systems related issues.
· Continuously challenge existing planning and roster process in order to promote best practices across the countries and business lines.
· Support the implementation of global governance initiatives to drive standardisation, strengthen a KPI driven culture and implement cost reductions at operational sites across the organization.
· Calculate “What-if” scenarios for analysing the potential of new operational practices.
· Participate in tender calculations (potential customer wins, M&A activities)
· Regularly review and optimize business engagement standards.
· Establish and develop training material content with the ability to conduct on-site training
· Manage the business & strategic side of selected key processes/applications for Swissport
· Establish goals and support metrics based on Swissport objectives in all areas related to Resource Management. Measure performance through KPIs and ROI.
· Participate in and where required manage projects and programmes to help drive and promote effective planning, rostering and allocations services throughout the Global Network.
· Manage relationships with system vendors in order to ensure our Planning Systems are fit for purpose and are continually improved.

Qualifications and Competencies
· Higher education, relevant university degree is an advantage.
· Experience with Inform GS Resource Systems- in particular GS Planning and GS Realtime is advantageous.
· Experience in project management.
· Experience in the aviation industry, preferably with a specialty area in resource management.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Strong work ethic with a high degree of self-motivation and resilience
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and work with a wide a range of audiences and cultures.
· Willingness to travel worldwide (about 35%)
· Fluent command of English as the corporate language, any other language is a plus
