Reports To: Talent Acquisition Lead
The Talent Acquisition team is one of our People Centre of Excellence (CoE) teams where we are dedicated to hiring individuals who share our core values, exemplify unwavering integrity and consistently demonstrate ethical behaviour in all aspects of their professional and personal lives, both online and offline.
We have four hiring teams in the Talent Acquisition function, including Corporate, Service Delivery - Ground, Service Delivery - Inflight (SDI) and Operations (Ops). As the Talent Acquisition Officer, you will be assigned in either the SDI or Ops teams. You will be responsible for supporting recruitment administration and coordination of the end-to-end recruitment process of the hiring of one of employee groups. In this role, you will gain exposure to mass recruitment in a complex environment with opportunities to learn and grow within the talent acquisition area.
This is a fixed-term contract position until 31 Dec 2025.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition hiring team
- Manager daily logistics from interview and assessment arrangements, follow-ups with candidates through multiple channels to post-offer admin
- Invigilate computer based assessment and conduct screening of test results
- Work closely with the respective business units on scheduling of interviews and class assignments
- Maintain up to date data on hiring trackers and selection status on Sharepoint and / or application tracking system (ATS) including interview schedules, results and processes
- Prepare candidate’s profile for interview
- Handle general enquiries from candidates via various channels including common mailbox
- Coordinate recruitment activity for all applicable overseas hires
- Work closely with AVMED (Aviation Medical) on scheduling of pre-employment medical check
- Assist in preparing recruitment statistics
- Participate in job fairs to promote opportunities at Cathay and other talent acquisition projects as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration or equivalent qualifications
- Graduate opportunity; some full-time work experience in an HR or talent acquisition role is advantageous
- Previous exposure to high volume recruitment is advantageous
- Experience working with an applicant tracking / eRecruit platform is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills

- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
