Position Overview
The
P145 Technical Production Planner is responsible for conducting detailed reviews of customer-supplied work scopes and establishing efficient workflows and critical path execution plans for maintenance inputs. This includes creating daily task-loading plans and ensuring all tooling requirements are identified and available.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a full assessment of customer-supplied work packs to develop fully engineered STS work packs, including tooling requirements.
- Identify key milestones for planned maintenance inputs, such as parts and tooling needs.
- Highlight critical and priority inspections and tasks.
- Develop critical path execution plans using Gantt charts.
- Identify third-party requirements, including NDT, aircraft reweighs, and exterior cleaning.
- Create daily task card loading plans.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for P145 Technical Production Planning at Birmingham (BHX).
- Provide advice and support to Check Managers during maintenance inputs.
Required Skills And Abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in IT systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Education and Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an MRO or base maintenance environment.
- Previous experience in a Check Manager, Aircraft Manager, or Production Planning role.
- Solid understanding of Part 145 regulations.
