About The Role & Team
As a
Contract Management Specialist, you will take the lead in managing the contract activities for customer bids and provide crucial support for the pre and post-sales management of contracts.
SITA is the market leader supporting governments worldwide in Border Management solutions, with products and innovative developments implemented for over 60 governments, managing over 2 billion journeys each year. With the challenges facing border authorities evolving so quickly in recent times, SITA is managing a significant uplift in requests for both product implementations and bespoke solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Manage all administration activities around the contract lifecycle to ensure accurate and timely completion of contractual tasks.
- Undertake daily operations and workflow of the commercial/contract team, including facilitating logistics, meetings, and reviews.
- Maintain master files and databases on bid responses, contract issues, and renewals, ensuring accessible resources for all team members.
- Undertake post-sales contract management including change requests and amendments, billing and invoicing issues, and end-of-contract management.
- Prepare reports and contribute to the development of presentations, creating and distributing documents to relevant parties.
- Review, understand, and manage customer contract(s) within the IT industry. Experience with government contracts is an advantage.
- Support the resolution of issues linked to contractual/process challenges.
- Identify, assess, and manage contractual risk as part of the bid team, particularly within the telecommunications or IT sector.
Qualifications
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS
- 3-5 years of experience in contract management within the telecommunications or IT industry.
- Fluent English with strong verbal and written skills
- Proficient in structuring, negotiating, and managing contracts.
- Strong attention to detail and commercial acumen.
- Excellent cross-team collaboration and negotiation skills.
- Skilled in managing risk and reviewing contracts.
- Comfortable using graphic tools for contract representation.
- Well-versed in project management and RFP responses.
- Proficient in technical writing and documentation.
- Adheres to high ethical standards and values.
- Effective communicator with a customer-focused approach.
NICE-TO-HAVE
- Batchelor’s degree or previous experience of working in aviation/IT sector
