About The Role And The Team
The Finance Analyst, is responsible for ensuring the quality of the business cases, their compliance to SITA Business Approval Board (BAB) processes and policies, preparing the agenda to be reviewed by the BAB members and managing the organization of the session.
This position is based in Prague, fixed term contract (Maternity Leave cover), and reports to the Manager Business Finance of the BAB Secretariat.
What You’ll Do
Business Approval Review:
- Ensure quality and accuracy of the documentation submitted for BAB review
- Perform in depth pre-screening reviews of the business cases submitted for BAB approval, in full alignment with the internal Business Approval Policy (BAP),
- Ensure that there is an alignment between the Sales tool and BAB submissions
- Organize, participate and minute the weekly BAB meetings, capturing BAB Members decisions, actions and conditions.
- Record outcome of BAB meetings in the Sales tool
- Act as the single point of contact for the BAB process
- Monitor mailbox and ensuring quality and in time response
- Ensuring the timely review and action with regards any `Special' BAB requests & offline requests
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Timely maintain BAB register for assigned areas
- Create & maintaining KPI reporting and provide various BAB reports upon request
- Analyses reports and summarized results & findings to the BAB management
- Prepare and upload the approved BAB financials in the financial system.
Processes / Policies / Guidelines
- Support improvement of the tools and processes
- Identify compliance and governance gaps between the Sales tools, BAB documentations and SITA Policies.
Qualifications
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
- Minimum 2 to 3 years work experience preferably within a large international company with a matrix business structure
- Experience with working within an international environment, working across varied time zones
- Experience with reporting and with financial analysis (ideally with Financial Statements, Cash Flows and Risk Analysis)
- Experience in commercial finance
- Proficiency in English (at a C1 level), with fluency in speaking, reading, and writing.
