About The Role & Team
The Portfolio Training Project Manager is a critical role within SITA’s global airport product training team. You will lead projects to improve the planning, operations, and delivery of training programs, ensuring alignment with business priorities and fostering collaboration across all teams involved. By ensuring that we are optimally set up to help every audience understand and leverage the full value of our airport products, you will directly contribute to SITA’s mission to transform air travel.
What You Will Do
This role combines project management responsibilities and supporting the Head of Portfolio Training on critical topics. The ideal candidate will manage projects to develop our training capabilities, ensure that effective processes are implemented and adhered to, and coordinate training needs and priorities across internal and external audiences. Strong cross-functional collaboration and executive communication skills are essential.
Work environment: Hybrid model, travel will also be required globally 30-40%.
Project Management
- Oversee the planning and execution of multiple training projects in a dynamic environment, ensuring alignment with business priorities and delivery timelines.
- Take ownership of existing projects, identify new training project needs, and develop detailed project management plans.
- Ensure all projects are tracked, updated, and completed on time.
- Define and implement Learning Management System (LMS) processes, supporting the LMS Admin, Portfolio Instructional Designers, and Portfolio Trainer teams.
- Manage role-based curriculum paths, ensuring learner paths are defined and reflected in the LMS and that training content is properly categorized in a learning catalog.
- Monitor adherence to newly developed processes and identify opportunities for process improvements with recommendations for implementation.
- Ensures that project tracking is up to date with all projects being monitored and finalized in time.
Trainings Demand And Supply Management And Processes Development
- Balance training demand and supply by aligning internal and external requests with trainer and resource availability.
- Collaborate with GEO Project Managers and training requestors to develop and execute comprehensive training plans.
- Liaise across business units to identify training needs and assign Instructional Designers or trainers to projects.
- Drive special initiatives, including go-to-market (GTM) training strategies and solution design bootcamps.
- Oversee curriculum management, ensuring role-based learner paths and LMS content are well-organized and up to date.
- Ensure training processes, including Productization and the design-development-delivery lifecycle, are implemented and adhered to.
- Maintain executive-level communication to align training strategies with organizational goals and stakeholder needs.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE
This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success of training programs by managing projects, processes, and team coordination while supporting the broader goals of the Portfolio Training team.
- Proven experience in project management and the ability to develop and implement training-related processes.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and tools such as Monday.com.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and executive communication skills.
- Ability to delegate tasks, manage resources effectively, and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Experience in curriculum design and role-based learner path development is a plus.
- Strong project management skills.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in training operations, instructional design, or technical writing.
- Proven expertise in managing enterprise-wide training programs and content development.
- Experience in scaling training programs across business units.
- Experience in software as a service industry product enablement.
- Exposed to organizations working with product led growth strategy is a plus.
- Airline industry experience is a plus.
NICE-TO-HAVE
- Certifications such as Certified Technical Trainer (CTT) or similar.
- Advanced degrees in Instructional Systems Design or equivalent.
- Experience with enterprise content management systems and modern learning technologies.
